In my pictures, the Snow Queen is an image of war as the prime embodiment of cruelty. Sometimes war is a tragic necessity, but despite this, people have been fascinated by it for centuries. It is scary and attractive at the same time, like the Snow Queen.
Snödrottningen (danska: Snedronningen) är en saga från 1845 av den danske författaren H.C. Andersen. Den handlar om hur den kalla snödrottningen kidnappar barnet Kaj, och hur hans vän Gerda måste besegra drottningen. Sagan är i sju delar och hör till Andersens längsta och mest spridda.
